February 12, 2018

This is an incredible business story about applying a disruptive technology in the …spirits business. The Founders of the company discovered a natural way to not only speed up the aging process of spirits, but also to make them taste smoother.

In 2014, the company acquired a 26-acre distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky, anticipating that customer demand for its Bourbon Whiskey could potentially outstrip supply by 2017. Named after the co-inventor of the company’s TerrePURE technology, the O.Z. Tyler Distillery opened in 2016 after an extensive renovation. It is now producing over 20,000 barre

Since joining Terressentia in 2007, Hewlette has overseen the dynamic growth of the company. Over the past 8 years, annual revenues for the distilled spirits company have grown from $7K to $25MM.
