Entrepreneur Minute – Stacey Ledbetter, NFlyte

September 5, 2023

The Who’s on the Move, Entrepreneur Minute is an interview in support of the undeniable impact that entrepreneurs have on our communities. We will be highlighting 20 entrepreneurs in each of our markets (Columbia, Greenville and Charleston) with a short video as well as a full audio version of the conversation on our WhosOnTheMove SC podcast. You will see a diverse group of entrepreneurs and we will be exploring the theme of overcoming obstacles.

We would like to thank our sponsors of this video series:

Stacey Ledbetter, Founder/CEO, NFlyte

NFlyte is an all-in-one life skills app for I/DD adults who need support living independently that allows families, caregivers, and supportive programs to provide remote help. Autistic adults use the mobile app to create customized visual schedules, keep track of shopping lists, create and share recipes with the NFlyte community, store documents, and more. Parents log into a web-based dashboard to add tasks remotely and see how their adult child is progressing through the day. NFlyte makes supported independence possible.

Stacey Ledbetter is the founder of NFlyte and the mother to an autistic young adult who wants to live independently but will continue to need support with independent living skills. There are plenty of apps geared to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Yet adults with autism, who make up 80% of the population of 7 million people with autism in the U.S., have been lacking a mature solution that’s simplified for their needs and abilities. NFlyte gives autistic adults with support need a tool that empowers them to live their most independent lives while giving parents peace of mind.

Over the next five years, NFlyte plans to address the fuller universe of needs for supported independence.

The NFlyte team is proud to be partnering with Oak Tree Farm, an affordable housing community for I/DD adults in Conway, SC, and the Coastal Carolina University LIFE program, an inclusive post-secondary program for I/DD students leaning independent living skills while getting the college experience.
