A special night of music and inspiration is coming to Laurens as First United Methodist Church hosts recording artist, speaker, and former Miss South Carolina Dawn Smith Jordan, for an evening concert on Sunday, July 27 at 6:00 p.m.
The concert, titled “Favorite Hymns & Hallelujahs of the Faithful,” will feature a blend of beloved hymns, the stories behind the saints who wrote them, and a selection of Dawn’s favorite contemporary worship songs. With a heart for ministry and a powerful personal testimony, Dawn brings a unique and moving worship experience to every stage she graces.

“Dawn is not only an accomplished artist but also someone who shares the message of Christ with authenticity and grace,” said Pastor Gray Stallworth of First United Methodist Church. “We are excited to welcome her to Laurens for what promises to be a meaningful evening of worship.”

Dawn Smith Jordan has spent decades inspiring audiences across the country with her music and message. Following a personal tragedy that deeply shaped her faith, she has used her platform to encourage others with themes of healing, hope, and the steadfast love of God. She is a former Miss South Carolina, a top 10 Miss America finalist, and a long-time Christian recording artist and speaker.
