The Big Red Barn Retreat is excited to announce this year’s Big Red Barn Retreat Fall Jam at the Ballpark will feature Grand Ole Opry Member and Multi-Platinum songwriter and country music artist Chris Janson. The concert will be held on October 7, 2023 at Segra Park: Home of the Columbia Fireflies, and gates open at 5:00PM.

Chris Janson is part of the country’s new breed. In touch with the lighter side of life with self-penned No. 1s “Fix A Drink,” “Good Vibes,” and the triple platinum “Buy Me A Boat,” as well as the more thoughtful truths of “Done,” “Things You Can’t Live Without,” and the CMA Song of the Year nominee and ACM Video of the Year “Drunk Girl.” Both “Boat” and “Girl” were named to the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s prestigious “Songs I Wish I Wish I’d Written” list, which is why artists like Tim McGraw (“Truck Yeah,” “How I’ll Always Be”), Justin Moore (“Off The Beaten Path”), Cody Johnson (“Let’s Build A Fire”), and the iconic Hank Williams Jr. (“God Fearin’ Man,” “Those Days Are Gone”) reach for Janson’s songs for their own projects.

Beyond his artistry, Chris Janson’s live performances are legendary- it’s where his heart-on-the-four-wheeler songwriting meets the fans and he rocks the stage. Big Red Barn Retreat Fall Jam at the Ballpark, presented by Sonic Drive-In, has become one of the most patriotic events in the Midlands and honors our community’s veterans, active-duty service members, first responders and their families. This is the sixth year of the Fall Jam and the BRBR is extremely excited to be hosting it at Segra Park: Home of the Columbia Fireflies again, where there isn’t a bad seat in the house and is located in the heart of Columbia’s Bull Street District.

General admission seats are $40 and on-field, front-of-stage tickets are $25. Veterans will get a discounted purchase price of $25 if they buy them in advance and show their military ID. There are also club level and luxury box tickets available. Club level includes wait service for food and beverage and access to an air-conditioned Club Lounge with a full bar and restrooms. Tickets for the club level are $50. Luxury box tickets can only be bought in advance for $1,500. It includes 20 tickets, four parking passes and a dedicated wait staff offering the opportunity to pre-order food and beverage or order during the event at additional cost.

For those needing accommodations, the Hilton Columbia Center, located at 924 Senate Street, has rooms available at a special rate for concert goers. The Hilton Columbia Center is located in the heart of the Congaree Vista, Columbia’s unique historic commercial district and one of the city’s most vibrant areas for shopping, dining and nightlife. Close to the South Carolina State Museum, Columbia’s Riverwalk Park, Colonial Life Arena, and of course close to SEGRA PARK.
