City of Charleston and Edifice Construction to host Lowline Clean-Up Day with community volunteers

Join the City of Charleston, Edifice Construction, and volunteers for Lowline Clean-Up Day—a hands-on opportunity to support the transformation of the future Lowline into a vibrant public space that will connect neighborhoods, celebrate local culture, and improve quality of life for residents across Charleston.
WHO: City of Charleston, Edifice Construction, community volunteers.
WHAT: A community clean-up on the site of the future Lowline.
WHEN: Friday, July 18th, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (wrap-up lunch to follow)
WHERE:
- Start Location: Parking lot behind The Daily (Sheppard Street)
- The morning kicks off at 8:00 AM with a welcome, safety briefing, and remarks from project leaders about the Lowline’s vision and importance. Volunteers will be assigned clean-up zones and provided with tools and supplies.
- Lunch & Wrap-Up: Vivian Anderson Moultrie Playground (1201 King Street)
After the clean-up, all participants are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Edifice Construction.
