Justin Brown, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Charleston Southern University

A leader in student affairs, Justin Brown serves as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Charleston Southern University. Brown, a former character coach/chaplain for Furman University football, has dedicated his career to mentoring students and developing leaders.

With over a decade of experience in higher education, Brown is recognized for his work in student growth, leadership development, and spiritual engagement. He introduced the “Go 1 More” concept, which encourages perseverance and resilience.

Brown holds a master’s degree in divinity and organizational leadership from Mercer University and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and religion from Furman University. He and his wife, Kodee, reside in Greenville with their twin daughters, Mya and Mila.
