April 16 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
This April, the Laurens Public Library System is excited to announce the return of its popular gardening series, Green Thumbs, with a special focus on “Perennials for the Upstate.” Whether you’re an avid gardener or just starting out, this program promises to be an enlightening exploration into the world of flowering perennials and grasses that thrive in our local climate.
The program will delve into a range of topics, from time-honored favorites to unexpected garden gems that can transform any landscape. Participants will learn about the diverse array of perennials available, each offering unique colors, textures, and seasonal interest. Whether you’re looking to enhance your garden’s aesthetics or seeking low-maintenance plants for sustainability, this event is designed to inspire and inform.
The Green Thumbs program will be held at both locations within the Laurens Public Library System. The first session takes place at the Clinton Library (107 Jacobs Highway) on April 16 at 5:00 pm, followed by a second session at the Laurens Library (1017 W. Main Street) on April 23, also at 5:00 pm. Both events are open to the public, free of charge, and suitable for all ages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to connect with like-minded individuals, share knowledge, and gather insights from seasoned experts. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply curious about landscaping with perennials, everyone is welcome to attend.
