The community is invited to join the Department of Music for the annual Piano Ensemble Recital Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center Auditorium at Lander. This event is free and open to the public.

The Lander Department of Music’s 2024 Piano Ensemble Recital explores TV and movie themes that reflect recent pop culture phenomena. The Piano Ensemble covers recent pop culture hits, such as Mission Impossible, The Avengers, Star Wars, Top Gun, The Office, Good Omens, Gravity Falls, The Witcher, The Pink Panther, Interstellar, Cowboy Bebop, Stranger Things and more. As our television shows, movies and media develop along our ever-connecting society, the Lander Music faculty traverse the conflict and harmony that lies within. All music on the program has been arranged by members of the ensemble, which includes groups of two and four pianists performing at one or two pianos.
