Laurens County Community Theatre to Hold Auditions for Little Women
December 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
The Laurens County Community Theatre is set to hold auditions for its upcoming production of Little Women on Sunday, December 8, at 6 p.m. Auditions will take place at Clinton High School and will be open to men, women, and teenagers aged 13 and older.
Directed by Valerie Jones, this non-musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved classic brings to life the compelling story of the March sisters, exploring themes of love, family, and resilience. Those auditioning will read directly from the script, allowing participants to showcase their interpretation of the characters and their unique voices.
The production team encourages anyone interested in community theatre, whether seasoned actors or newcomers, to attend. “We are excited to see fresh faces and familiar talent come out for this production,” said Jones. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to be part of a timeless story that resonates across generations.”
Following a read-through scheduled before Christmas, rehearsals will officially begin after the holiday season, allowing the cast and crew ample time to prepare for the February performances. Show dates are set for the last two weekends in February, offering audiences multiple opportunities to experience this heartfelt play.
