In an effort to combat the ongoing opioid epidemic and promote the safe disposal of prescription drugs, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with National Take Back Day on Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Participants can drop off their unused or expired prescription medications at the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office at the 212 Deming Way, Summerville location or at the 101 Ridge Street, St. George location.

We encourage everyone in the community to take advantage of this opportunity to safely dispose of medications that are no longer needed. By doing so, you are contributing to a safer and healthier environment for us all.
