Presbyterian College to Host Free Concert Featuring “Songs and Dances” on November 14

Presbyterian College’s Department of Music invites the community to an enchanting evening of “Songs and Dances” on Thursday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Belk Auditorium. The concert, conducted by Dr. Giovani Briguente, will showcase a diverse program of orchestral and wind band pieces, promising a delightful experience for all attendees. The event is free and open to the public, with casual attire encouraged.

The repertoire for the evening includes a variety of selections spanning different styles and eras:

Barnes – Westridge Overture
Grainger – Mock Morris
Haydn – St. Anthony Chorale
Debussy – Girl with the Flaxen Hair
Arbeau – Dances from Orchesographie
Bourgeois – Serenade, op. 22

Smith – Anthem for Winds and Percussion
