Tee Off for a Cause: Community Gathers for Fellowship, Fun, and Philanthropy

The Rotary Club of Lexington is excited to announce its highly anticipated annual Golf Tournament, The Frank Mogan Cup, a signature event that brings together golf enthusiasts, sponsors, and community members for a day of spirited competition, camaraderie, and meaningful support for local causes. This year’s tournament will take place at the Country Club of Lexington on Monday, September 8, 2025. The event will tee off with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Registration opens at 11:30 a.m.

As part of the Rotary Club’s longstanding commitment to “Service Above Self,” all proceeds will directly benefit important community initiatives, including Chris Myers’ Children’s Place and the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter, as well as scholarships for local high school students, youth leadership programs, and support for organizations making a difference in our community.

The Frank Mogan Cup golf tournament is more than just a sporting event—it’s a celebration of community spirit and the power of collective action. The tournament is limited to 28 teams with a captain’s choice format and will include:

18 holes of golf with cart
Lunch and dinner provided
Hole in one, long drive and closest to the pin contests
Great networking opportunities
Opportunities for Sponsorship and Support

Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate as sponsors, helping to underwrite tournament costs and maximize the proceeds directed to charitable causes. Sponsorship packages are available at a variety of levels, each offering valuable recognition opportunities such as signage on the course, mentions in promotional materials, and the chance to interact with participants on the day of the event.

Sponsorship opportunities are:

• Tee Box Sponsor – $300, with opportunity to set up a company tent to promote your message or product
• Hole Sponsor – $150 with your company’s name on signage at one of the 18 holes
