Fireworks don’t just happen… patriots make them happen!
Taste of Lake Murray, presented by Lexington Health, will take place on March 26, 2026 at 6 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia. This signature event is the sole fundraiser for Lake Murray’s Independence Day Celebration. Since 1989, Capital City/Lake Murray Country has proudly produced and brought this show to Lake Murray, ensuring that the sky lights up with fireworks from two lake locations each year. The 2026 celebration will be especially meaningful as the 250th Anniversary of the Revolutionary War is commemorated.

This year’s party with a purpose will be truly revolutionary and will debut exciting updates, including a new event logo and a refreshed experience from start to finish.

New restaurants such as Bessie’s Burgers and More, Cola’s Restaurant, Ember, Mother’s Oysters + Pies, SouthShore Grill & Grocery, and TakoSushi join returning favorites including 518 Smokehouse, Bev South, Big Boys BBQ, Blue Marlin, Columbo’s, Halls Chophouse, Hollow Creek Distillery, Juniper, Lexington 2 Innovation Center, Roy’s Grille, Sarah’s Rockin’ Kitchen, Savage Craft Ale Works, The Bistro, and even more to come!

The Liberty Lounge, presented by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture, will serve as a new outdoor experience where guests can step outside the ballroom into a lively expanded area with a DJ, local samples, and food trucks. This space also highlights an enhanced farm-to-fork initiative, celebrating locally sourced ingredients and the farms and flavors that make the region special. All of the restaurants featured in the Liberty Lounge are part of the Fresh on the Menu program, meaning they commit to sourcing a significant portion of their ingredients from Certified South Carolina producers and showcasing fresh, local food on their menus.

Inside, a rethought ballroom layout will create a more dynamic, engaging atmosphere for guests while also providing improved visibility and value for sponsors. Plus, a new online ticketing system will make securing tickets easier than ever.

Entertainment will keep the night lively. Right To Party will energize the Spirit of ‘76 Dance Floor with a high-energy live show featuring multiple vocalists, horns, and favorite hits from past and present. Outdoors, DJ Stingray 803 will keep the vibe going with expert mixes that keep crowds dancing throughout the evening.

Guests will also have the chance to bid in the Stars & Stripes Silent Auction featuring a wide variety of exceptional items and experiences.

Tickets for Taste of Lake Murray 2026 will go on sale Thursday, January 22 at 12:00 PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as none will be sold at the door. General admission is $150 per person, with optional reserved seating available for an additional $25 per person. Reserved seating is sold out.

Reserved seating is limited. Only sponsors and guests who purchase reserved seating are guaranteed a seat. All attendees must be 21 or older.

Each ticket* includes event entry, food from all participating vendors, and beverages including water, tea, beer, wine, and assorted sodas. Wristbands will be given at the door once guests scan their QR code for entry.

*Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any other Lake Murray Country item.
