Village Idiot Pizza’s commitment to giving back to its community takes center stage with its sixth annual “Pizza for Preemies” campaign throughout November. In addition to the month-long fundraising efforts, the renowned pizza restaurant is excited to present “Sip & Shop,” a special shopping event in collaboration with Kendra Scott dedicated to supporting South Carolina March of Dimes on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., guests of this charitable event can enjoy complimentary champagne, indulge in a free slice of Village Idiot Pizza’s delicious pizza, and shop Kendra Scott’s newly renovated store on Forest Drive – all while contributing to a worthy cause. Kendra Scott’s newest holiday collection is set to debut just in time for the fundraising event. A percentage of every in-person purchase during the event as well as online sales Nov. 29 through Nov. 30 will go directly to March of Dimes on behalf of Pizza for Preemies. The code for online purchases will be shared via Village Idiot Pizza’s Instagram, @idiotpizza, the week of Nov. 29.

Pizza for Preemies was created by owners Brian and Kelly Glynn in 2017, originating from their challenging experience of the premature birth of their twins, Liam and Willow. Born at 28 weeks via emergency cesarean at just 2lbs 9 ounces and 1lb 11 ounces respectively, they are now thriving and healthy children celebrating their sixth birthday thanks to the advancements and research funded by March of Dimes.
