After an extremely successful announcement in April and several months of marketing, the Colliers International brokerage team representing First Citizens Bank on the Park and Lady properties has announced that the last call for proposals will be August 26.

The Park and Lady offering, which consists of four parcels of land and buildings totaling approximately 4.67 acres and 95,000 square feet and located near the intersection of Park and Lady Streets in downtown Columbia, generated intense interest when it was brought onto the market in April of this year.  The properties, which can be purchased individually or collectively, are located in close proximity to a number of recent downtown Columbia developments, including apartments, student housing, hotels and redevelopments of historic buildings into modern restaurants and brewpubs in the Vista Entertainment and Arts District.

The Colliers team tasked with marketing the property, Tripp Bradley, CCIM, Craig Waites and Braxton Taylor, expressed confidence that the property will signal new development in the popular Vista District.

“There is so much potential with these sites, being so close to the Vista and Columbia’s Central Business District,” said Bradley, a Senior Brokerage Associate with Colliers. “The sizes and locations of the First Citizens Bank parcels provide a wide range of possibilities and opportunities for developers and users alike. We are very excited to see what kinds of proposals the Bank receives on August 26.”

The August 26 deadline serves as the final opportunity for those who are interested in the Park and Lady properties individually or collectively to submit a proposal to First Citizens Bank. The Colliers team indicated that details on the proposal process, including information on touring the properties, can be accessed by downloading the Request for Proposal included in the sidebar of the property listing page, where interested parties can also request and access due diligence materials for all four properties.

Bradley, Waites and Taylor are all members of the Commercial Brokerage Team in Columbia, SC, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of land and development properties.
