First Community Bank Awarded Contract Through the Community Development HOME Program

COLUMBIA, SC – April 10, 2009 – First Community Bank, a local community bank with eleven offices in the Midlands, has been awarded the contract to provide designated banking services through the Community Development HOME program for Lexington County.  Funding for this program is provided through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and will provide loans for low- to moderate-income households to rehabilitate their homes.
