Free help with FAFSA on Feb. 18 at Greenville Tech
January 26, 2012GREENVILLE, SC – Staff volunteers from Greenville Technical College and Bob Jones University will partner to offer a financial aid workshop on Saturday, February 18, for anyone interested in attending college.
The College Goal South Carolina event will be held from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. at the Greenville Technical College Admissions and Registration Center, 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. The event will include an information session about financial aid programs and the process for applying for financial assistance to pay for college. Participants will receive assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and the event is free and open to the public.
Students and parents desiring to complete the FAFSA at the event will need to bring 2011 income tax documents including W-2s and other income information. Other records that may be required, if applicable, are business and investment mortgage information, farm records, stock, bond and other investment records. You will need to bring your Social Security number and Driver¹s License if you have one.
College Goal South Carolina is a joint volunteer effort by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education and South Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators in cooperation with Greenville Technical College.
