Furman University to Hold Summer Commencement Aug. 13

GREENVILLE, SC – August 13, 2011 – Richard Letteri, a professor of Communication Studies at Furman University, will speak when the university holds its summer commencement Saturday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. in McAlister Auditorium.
Furman will award approximately 70 degrees during the ceremony.
Letteri has been a member of the Furman faculty since 1989, where he teaches courses in public speaking, rhetoric, political communication, and media criticism. He is also the author of A Handbook of Public Speaking. He is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Ohio University.
