Gardner-Webb Resists PC Upset Bid in Overtime

Presbyterian College opened its COVID-delayed football season for old times’ sake.

The Blue Hose no longer play in the Big South, having dropped scholarships in the sport and moved to the Pioneer Football League to compete with like-minded FCS schools. They opened their season against the school they last defeated in Big South play, and almost did it again.

The Bulldogs needed two overtimes to win, 31-24.
