Joe Everson is a professional artist and vocalist in Taylors, S.C., best known for his many viral videos of him singing while painting at professional sporting events and Fortune 500 companies.

Everson attended a fundraising event this past weekend, June 3, 2017, at the private residence of movie star and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger to raise money for his nonprofit, After-School All-Stars. Joe performed a live-action painting of the Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima while simultaneously singing the National Anthem to open the event.

“Immediately following the performance, a spectator ran up to Schwarzenegger and offered $50,000 for the painting. A couple of hours later, Joe’s other painting, a portrait of Arnold in his youth, went for $22,500 in a live auction. Arnold and his team were very pleased and invited us back for next year” said Joe’s manager, Dan Lyles of Greenville, SC.

The total amount raised for the evening was 1.8 million dollars, through Schwarzenegger memorabilia, lavish vacations and luxury time-pieces, with Joe contributing $72,500 with only two paintings up for sale. Several movie and TV stars were in attendance such as Sylvester Stallone, Tom Arnold and Matt Iseman, the host from American Ninja Warrior and winner of The New Celebrity Apprentice.
