October 17, 2022

The meeting is open to the public but requires advance registration.

The Greenville County Republican Women’s Club (GCRWC) will host Senator Tim Scott as the keynote speaker for their October meeting. The meeting will be held at the Poinsett Club (807 E. Washington Street, Greenville) on Thursday, October 27 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm.

Senator Scott is a leader on tax reform, education and job training, and innovative ideas to reinvest in our nation’s distressed communities. Scott brings a unique perspective to the United States Senate. Growing up mired in poverty in a single parent household, Scott says that he is living his mother’s American Dream, and through his Opportunity Agenda works every single day to ensure every American family has the opportunity to succeed.

Scott who has served South Carolina in the U.S. Senate since 2013 has a mission to positively affect the lives of a billion people with the message of hope and opportunity.

“From cotton to Congress in one lifetime, Senator Scott exemplifies all that America offers and we are honored to have him address what we know will be a full house for our October meeting,” said GCRWC President Dianne Mitchell. “Senator Scott will provide brief remarks and then spend the remaining time answering our questions. This will be a very informative meeting.”

The cost to attend the meeting (which includes lunch) is $25 for all attending. Non-members should register on Eventbrite no later than 2 pm on Tuesday, October 25. Click HERE to register.

Attendance is expected to be high and will be limited to 300 so early registration is encouraged to ensure ticket availability. The meeting will start promptly at noon, and everyone is encouraged to arrive early.
