Greenville Rotary Grants taking applications

GREENVILLE, SC – March 7, 2014 –  Local non-profit organizations have until the first of April to apply for the 2014 Rotary Club of Greenville Grants.

Rotary Club of Greenville Grants are intended to serve the local and regional community with financial support to tax-exempt charitable organizations providing humanitarian, education, health and human services in our community. The grants are administered through Rotary Charities, an affiliated non-profit organization.

The grants have on six areas of focus: peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy and economic and community development.

Any 501(c)(3)organizations can apply for Rotary Club of Greenville grants. Grant requests from $3,000 to $15,000 will be reviewed for 2014. Grant funds in the amount of $15,000 may be awarded to a single applicant, or grant funds may be divided among more than one applicant. The minimum grant awarded will be $3,000. Rotary Charities, Inc. has final authority on funding of grant requests.

Grant applications and supporting documents must be submitted electronically to [email protected] by the end of the day on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Submissions by mail or hand delivery will not be accepted.  The grant application is available at www.greenvillerotary.org and clicking the Forms tab.
