Greenville Tech Celebrates 5,000 Facebook Fans in its Fiftieth Year

GREENVILLE, SC – March 28, 2012 – Greenville Tech’s Facebook page, established in 2009, has now exceeded 5,000 fans.
To celebrate 5,000 fans during the college’s 50th anniversary year, the college, along with Hot 98.1 and 107.3 Jamz, awarded tickets to the Royal Comedy Tour this weekend to two lucky winners. Shan McCuen Cheek and Larrence Dynasty Leverette were selected as winners from the page’s fans.
Though most of the college’s facebook fans are from the U.S., international students are also represented. Home countries include Egypt, Pakistan, the Philippines, Mexico, India, and France.
The page is used to provide fast answers for almost any question a student may have. Topics include financial aid, graduation, transcripts, program requirements, tutoring, and a host of other issues.
