Greenville Tech students accepted for Work Immersion Study Program

GREENVILLE, SC – March 12, 2012 – Kathriana Kengni, a Paralegal student at Greenville Technical College, and Alex Turitto, a student in the Physical Therapist Assistant program, have been accepted into the Baden-Württemberg STIPENDIUM Work Immersion Study Program (WISP).

WISP is a funded, three-month work-study immersion program offered for community college students, allowing them to gain practical work experience in their career field while improving their German language skills and becoming immersed in the country¹s culture.

The program begins in June with a one-month language course followed by a two-month internship. Internships are customized to accommodate career interests and take place in the German state of Baden-Württermberg. To be considered, students must be enrolled in an associate degree program.
