Holder Properties breaks ground on River Oaks Center

Holder Properties announced the ground breaking of River Oaks Center, a 106,000 square foot Class “A” office building located in Charleston’s largest office park – The Executive Park at Faber Place.  The building will be located on Leeds Avenue off of I-526 in North Charleston.   The project, which broke ground this week, will be ready for new tenants by the fall of this year.

16035 - River Oaks Exterior - Professional (1)The four-story office building will have an adjacent surface parking lot totaling approximately 375 spaces.  The building’s efficient floor plates, measuring approximately 25,000 square feet each, will provide flexibility for multi-tenant or single-tenant users.  Each floor will have floor-to-ceiling glass allowing views of the park.  River Oaks will be clad in precast concrete panels, glass and metal with a lobby consisting of wood and stone finishes.  The building is designed with energy efficient systems and environmentally sensitive materials.  Holder Properties will retain and prominently display many of the large live oaks that have been on the property for more than a century.  The project is designed by Warner Summers and will be built by Harper Corporation.

 

Holder Properties has played a prominent role in the Charleston real estate market for 10 years, with notable recent projects including 1 Central Island Plaza and Blackbaud’s new corporate campus, currently under construction.  The company has developed in Charleston over 800,000 square feet of Class “A” office space valued in excess of $185 million.  River Oaks will be the fifth office development for Holder Properties in the Executive Park at Faber Place.
