Jim Campbell, Interim Director of Spartanburg Parks hopes the community will take time to have their voice heard, The purpose of the meeting is to seek community input. We want a clearer understanding of the scope, type and amenities the local community desires in their park.
The local community is encouraged to attend the planning meeting. Once the planning meetings have been concluded, Milone and MacBroom’s planning consultants will make their recommendations to the Spartanburg County Council.
This community meeting will provide residents a forum to give their input on the future of the Holston Creek Park. By taking into consideration what recreational opportunities they are looking for, a master plan can be developed to maximize the use of the land, said Paul Mills with Milone MacBroom.
