Is it just me, or is Champagne (among all the other sparkling wines) insanely popular this summer?  There’s just something about a bit of bubbly that can make any occasion feel like a celebration.  Whether you’re toasting at a dear pal’s wedding or just enjoying a mimosa with brunch, life is better with a bit of fizz!

But what can you do with those leftover wire thingies that keep your corks secure when the party’s over?

Why not turn them into adorable little chairs that can be added to a necklace as a memento of that special event?

All you need is a set of pliers!

Step 1:

Use your pliers to untwist the bottom wire and slide it out from the “legs” of your soon-to-be chair.  Bend the legs inward slightly to keep the “seat” of the chair firmly in place.

Once you’re done, your wire thingy will look like this:

Step 2:

Twist the newly-separated bottom part into whatever shape you like.  This is going to be the back of your chair.

Step 3:

Use your pliers to twist this wire onto the legs of your new chair!

Step 4:

Put your chair on whatever necklace/chain you happen to have laying around!  I used the chain from an old concert backstage pass!
