Jackson Lewis Shareholder Reelected To SC Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

GREENVILLE, SC – Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce that Greenville Shareholder Andy Satterfield has been reelected to serve on the 2014-15 board of directors of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Satterfield has been an active member of the board since 2011.

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the nation’s first state chamber Accredited with Distinction by the U.S. Chamber, is South Carolina’s largest statewide broad-based business and industry trade association representing more than 18,000 businesses and more than one million employees. As the unified voice for business and industry, the Chamber is a catalyst for increasing per capita income and enhancing the state’s global competitiveness in order to improve the quality of life for all South Carolinians.

Mr. Satterfield is a Shareholder in the Greenville office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He practices in the areas of management labor and employment law and has substantial experience representing employers in the manufacturing, professional services, restaurant, health care, retail, and banking industries.

Mr. Satterfield received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of numerous business and community organizations including: YMCA of Greenville, Metropolitan Board of Directors (2004-2011, Chairman 2009 & 2010); Pendleton Place Children’s Shelter, Board of Directors (2011-2013); Greenville Society for Human Resource Management, Board of Directors (2012 – 2013); and Haynsworth Perry Inn of Court, Executive Committee (2010 – 2014).
