Children across the country, and in particular across South Carolina, are falling well below the most basic measures of academic success and well-being. On the most respected national survey of child well-being, South Carolina ranks 45th among U.S. States and lacks consistency in improvements.
Through research and advocacy, the Institute for Child Success is focusing on creating high-quality early childhood development and education systems that ensure that our youngest children are ready for school. It leads public and private partnerships to coordinate, enhance and improve resources for the success of all children.
