Laurens County Cancer Association One of Three Non-Profits to Receive Funding from Self Regional Healthcare

Laurens County Cancer Association was one of three non-profit organizations to receive funding from Self Regional Healthcare. Other non-profits receiving funding support were Healthy Learners and Emerald City Rotary Foundation.
Laurens County Cancer Association received $20,000 to be used towards fuel assistance allotted to the patients with cancer they serve. This along with their other offerings allow patients to make it to their treatments and appointments.
The Self Regional Healthcare Community Health Committee meets regularly with the goal to improve health prevention and wellness for the residents of the community.
