LCK’s Mickey Layden Appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Midlands Housing Alliance (Transitions)

COLUMBIA, SC – Mickey Layden has recently been appointed by the Midlands Housing Alliance (Transitions) to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. In the past, Layden has served as a board member and volunteer at Transitions.

The primary mission of Transitions is to move its clients from homelessness to independent living. Various strategies and types of housing are used to help stabilize individuals living on the street and enroll them in services designed to stabilize their lives, increase their income, and help them secure permanent housing.

Layden is President and majority owner of LCK, a woman-owned business certified by the National Women’s Business Owner’s Corporation. LCK is a regional firm offering project management solutions for institutions, corporations and private entities in the development of real estate. Mickey’s extensive background in commercial construction, facilities management and real estate development serves as the foundation for the professional design and construction staff that she has assembled to create a comprehensive service offering for LCK’s clients.
