Leonard Russo to join Bill Murray owned restaurants in Charleston

Acclaimed Chef and Restaurateur Lenny Russo to join Rutledge Cab Co, Harold’s Cabin and Container Bar as Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations. A six-time James Beard nominee, Russo has been accumulating accolades from critics and the media for decades. Russo opened Heartland Restaurant and Farm Direct Market in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2002. Russo is widely known as an early adaptor of the farm to table dining experience. He authored the book “Heartland: Farm Forward Dishes from the Great Midwest” in 2015.
“The bar is set extremely high in Charleston; we are up to the task. There are strong and experienced teams along with solid reputations at each of these restaurants. This makes my work much easier” said Rosso. “Compared to Saint Paul, winters in Charleston are brutal but my wife Mega and I will try to pull through.”
Russo will join the Charleston based restaurants in mid-August.
