January 6, 2016

GREENVILLE, SC – Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse donated more than $30,000 in product and services along with 800 volunteer’s hours to Upstate agencies in 2016 — marking a new record for the sister businesses.

“At our core, Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse are South Carolina companies and we believe in giving back to those who make our region great,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of the two firms. “We can’t support everyone, but we make corporate giving a big part of what we do.”

Events that Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse supported ranged from one of the South’s major food festivals, Euphoria, to The Goodwill Mud Run to the Greenville Zoo Foundation’s annual Sippin’ Safari. In addition, The Old Cigar Warehouse hosted the Greenville Humane Society’s Pawmetto Derby in April and the Governor’s School for the Art’s Songwriters in the Round in November.

The two firms also supported events for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the United Way, Johnson said.

“We donate to events that we feel help make Greenville a better place to live,” she said.
