Liquid Catering hires Sales Manager

Liquid Catering and its sister company The Old Cigar Warehouse has brought in Tracy Ryan as its new Director of Sales and Marketing.

“Tracy brings a strong background in sales and event management, which makes her ideal to help Liquid Catering grow,” said Tammy Johnson, the owner of Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse. “We feel she is a great fit for our team as it continues to build.”

As the Director of Sales & Marketing for Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse, Ryan is responsible for supervising the sales team, managing key accounts, planning company produced events and coordinating all marketing and sales efforts.

A native of Fort Myers, Fl., Ryan earned degrees in political science and international relations from the University of Florida, where she started her career working for the catering company that served meals to the Florida Gators football team among many other clients.

Ryan next managed a high-end Lebanese restaurant and downtown Gainesville event venue before becoming a Director of Catering and Sales for Paramount Plaza Hotel in Gainesville. She then returned to school to earn a bachelors’ degree in human resources and then an MBA with a specialization in of Human Resources Management from Saint Leo University.

In 2014, Ryan moved Highlands, N.C. to become the events manager for The Bascom: A Center for the Visual Arts. In her role at The Bascom she managed all the events, fundraisers, donor relations and was the lead event planner for Collective Spirits; Wine and Food Festival.
