Lisa Marie Field joins GMK as a business development specialist

COLUMBIA, SC – GMK Associates, Inc., welcomes Lisa Marie Field as a business development specialist selling GMK’s services in the senior living arena. In this role, she will research, identify, and target potential new business to expand the firm’s existing client base in senior living markets.
Ms. Field’s combined experience brings a strong sales talent to the position with a focus on the senior living market, including Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs). Prior to joining GMK, Ms. Field most recently served in the hospitality industry as the membership director with Club Corp’s Columbia, SC-based Capital City Club. Ms. Field’s previous experience in mass media sales management includes various leadership positions with Knight Ridder, Inc., The McClatchy Company, Gannett Company, Media General, and Berkshire Hathaway. As marketing director with the multi-family division of John Crosland Company, Ms. Field worked with new construction from site acquisition to finished product in multiple markets in both Carolinas.

Ms. Field holds a bachelor of arts degree in organizational communications from Queens University and has garnered numerous performance-related awards throughout her professional career. A resident of Downtown Columbia, SC’s Main Street, Ms. Field is also a passionate urbanist, volunteering with Midland’s Urban Land Institute’s Media Outreach for Reality Check, Columbia Museum of Art’s Annual Gala, and Central South Carolina Alliance Committee of 100.
