COLUMBIA, SC – Pawmetto Lifeline announced that local Roller Derby ladies raised over $21,000 for homeless pets in the Midlands while competing for a spot on the 2016 Pin-Ups and Pets Calendar.

The ladies from Richland County Regulators and Columbia Quad Squad Roller Derby teams were extremely competitive in their fundraising with over 30 participants initially competing for a calendar spot. The top 12 fundraisers will all be featured in the 2016 Pin-Up and Pets Calendar.

“These ladies fought throughout the entire fundraising process,” said Taylor Wilson, Director of Marketing and Communications. “I can not thank them enough for their enthusiasm and am excited to see these amazing, animal-loving ladies in our 2016 calendar.”

The top fundraiser was Marcy Utheim, who raised $2,100.
