Lourie Center Executive Director Retires

COLUMBIA, SC – The Lourie Center’s Board of Directors announced that Executive Director Mary Kessler is retiring, to be effective August 28, 2015. Ms Kessler has served as Executive Director since 2009, leading the center through many transformative projects- renovations, rebranding, renaming, and significant expansion of programs. “My six years at the Lourie Center has been absolutely delightful,” says Ms Kessler. “I will miss the members, staff and volunteers immensely, but it is time for me to move on to other things.”
A drop-in reception will be hosted at the Lourie Center on Friday August 28, 4:30-6 pm, in honor of her hard work and dedication to the Lourie Center.
