Mad Monkey receives national certification as woman-owned business

May 3, 2016

The Greater Women’s Business Council, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), has recognized Mad Monkey Inc. with a national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise. Women-owned small businesses are one of the fastest growing segments of the economy and are sought after by enterprises that are committed to adding value and to diversifying the base of companies they work with.

Lorie“I’m excited about the potential opportunities this certification offers our team,” said Lorie Gardner, CEO and Founder of Mad Monkey Inc. “Our primary mission will always be to capture our clients unique story and tell it in a way that makes their brand more memorable. We are proud to be a marketing option for regional and national clients who are seeking more diversification.”

By hiring more certified women-owned businesses, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity in their business operations.

“One of my personal quests is to make digital production a viable and attainable career option for more minorities,” Gardner added. “This certificate aligns perfectly with that mindset.”

WBENC’s national standard of certification—implemented by their Regional Partner Organization, Greater Women’s Business Council (GWBC)—is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection each year.
