COLUMBIA, SC – A variety of experts, including the Embassy of the FederalRepublic of Germany’s Minister of Economics Peter Fischer, will addressan audience of manufacturers from across the state at the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s 2nd Annual Manufacturers Conference:International Manufacturing – South Carolina’s Worldwide Reach,presented by Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, December 7-9 at the Crowne PlazaResort on Hilton Head Island.
The conference kicks off Wednesday, December 7 with a welcome receptionat 5:30 p.m. On Thursday, December 8, guest speakers will discuss avariety of issues, including supply chain management, future energysolutions, international tax issues, current labor issues and more.Fischer will speak during the Thursday evening dinner beginning at 6:30p.m. On Friday, December 9, attendees will get updates from the SouthCarolina State Ports Authority, the South Carolina Department ofTransportation and the South Carolina Department of Employment andWorkforce (SCDEW).
