McDonnell and Associates, PA, opened in 2003 by CEO Edward G. McDonnell, celebrates its 13th year in business.
McDonnell and Associates, PA is a multi-state general law practice providing title work and settlement services for real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale or refinance of commercial and residential real estate properties. The firm is structured to have an emphasis on real estate law as well as land acquisition and development, builder services and lender representation. As a convenience to consumers, the firm employs mobile attorneys which enable the company to conduct closings at the client’s location of choice. The firm has combined the flexibility of mobile services with evening and weekend appointments, as well as competitive turn times on title orders and next day scheduling for closings, as a unique concept in bringing a new meaning of customer service to the legal market.
As real estate law began to thrive, McDonnell and Associates, PA was able to expand into a general law practice, including but not limited to, corporate law, estate planning, family court matters, criminal and DUI defense, landlord/tenant matters, tax law and civil litigation.
With June 16 marking the firm’s 13th anniversary, it has many notable achievements to celebrate. CEO Edward McDonnell submitted his business biography to the Inc. 5000 Corporation for nomination in its annual ‘fastest growing list’, and in 2014, the firm proudly announced its official acknowledgement. The Corporation publicly recognized McDonnell and Associates, PA for being among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States as well as among the 15 fastest growing private companies in South Carolina. Following further expansion, Ed resubmitted his firm in 2015 and it was once again acknowledged in the 2015 Inc. 5000 list, ranking #855 nationally and #9 regionally.
In 2015, McDonnell and Associates, PA became 1 of 16 South Carolinian businesses to be recognized as a Certified Palmetto Military Employer (PME) through Operation Palmetto Employment (OPE). After identifying the continuous needs of United States Veterans seeking adequate employment opportunities, Ed and his HR team proudly welcomed military personnel into private sector employment. Last November, Ed was presented with a plaque issued by the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Patriotic Employer for contributing to National Security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.
McDonnell and Associates’ main office is located in downtown Columbia, SC at 2442 Devine Street. The firm has over 10 office locations in South Carolina and a physical presence in many other states, primarily along the eastern coast. The firm continues to grow with its newest office soon to open in Lexington, South Carolina.
