McKay Firm Attorney Selected for Leadership Lexington County

COLUMBIA, SC– McKay, Cauthen, Settana, & Stubley, P.A.  announced that James E. L. “Eddie” Fickling has been selected as a member of  Leadership Lexington County Class of 2015 (LLC). 

The new members are chosen through an interview process conducted by a committee of Leadership Lexington County alumni. LLC is a non-profit educational organization designed to serve the needs of citizens by enhancing countywide leadership while energizing community involvement through building a network of local leaders and helping them realize their leadership skills and facilitates.

Mr. Fickling practices in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, employment law, utilities law, civil litigation, construction defect litigation and subrogation. Prior to practicing law, he attended The Citadel (B.A.), The University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D), and worked as a law clerk for the Labor, Commerce, and Industry Committee of the South Carolina House of Representatives and interned for The Honorable John M. Spratt, Jr. before joining the McKay firm.  Mr. Fickling is also a member of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, the Citadel Alumni Foundation and is a member for the Safety, Health and Security Committee with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

A celebration for the 2015 class and alumni will beon January 13 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Town of Lexington Conference Center.
