Melinda Davis Lux Elected Chair of the ABA Private Equity Subcommittee

GREENVILLE, SC – Melinda Davis Lux, a shareholder of Wyche, P.A., has been elected Chair of the Private Equity Subcommittee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Committee on Taxation. The Chair is responsible for leading the Subcommittee’s projects and programs, which focus on tax issues that arise in private equity transactions.

Melinda Davis Lux centers her practice at Wyche on complex business deals, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions. In addition to her role as Chair of the ABA Private Equity Subcommittee, Davis Lux is a member of the ABA Mergers & Acquisitions Committee, a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Chair of the Board of Clemson’s Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and a member of the Greenville Professional Women’s Forum. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Clemson University College of Business and Behavioral Science. Davis Lux is a graduate of Yale Law School and earned an MBA from Clemson University.
