Middle Tyger YMCA hires David Ozmore as Branch Executive Director

June 9, 2017

The Middle Tyger YMCA welcomes David Ozmore as their new Branch Executive Director. Ozmore has devoted 24 years to the YMCA in locations across the country and will continue to impact kids and families in his role at the Middle Tyger Y.

Most recently, Ozmore served as CEO at the YMCA in High Point, NC, and prior to that led a major turnaround after Hurricane Katrina as CEO of the YMCA in New Orleans. David and his family live in Kings Mountain, NC where his wife, Page, teaches kindergarten. Early in his career, Ozmore served as the first Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at the Kings Mountain YMCA. Ozmore holds a BS in Economics from Wingate University and an MA in Organizational Behavior and Leadership Development from Springfield College.

“I love the mission of the YMCA,” said Ozmore, “and I am excited to continue my career with the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg.” The Middle Tyger YMCA celebrates its 20th year in the Duncan community this year, and is home to one of the Nation’s top ranked YMCA swim teams, the Y-Spartaquatics Swim Club.
