Midlands Gives extended until 12:00 p.m. tomorrow, May 4, 2016 due to technical issues

 COLUMBIA, SC – Starting in the 11:00 a.m. hour this morning, the national online giving platform KIMBIA, through which Midlands Gives donations are processed, began experiencing severe issues due to high usership nationwide across more than 50 cities’ giving days that are using KIMBIA. Central Carolina Community Foundation has devised two solutions to this issue.

1. Midlands Gives will be extended until 12pm tomorrow, May 4, 2016. Donations will be accepted until 12pm on May 4, 2016 at www.midlandsgives.org.
2. In addition to extended hours for Midlands Gives, an alternate giving website has been built, where donors can make donations online today. This second website page will be accessible via www.YourFoundation.org. Click on the “Midlands Gives” button, and then use the special “Wufoo” web form to give to the nonprofits of your choice. Donations can be made to one charity per transaction. To donate to multiple charities, donors should repeat the process for each nonprofit.
