Molly Cherry Elected Secretary of SCWLA

CHARLESTON, SC – Nexsen Pruet attorney Molly Cherry has been elected Secretary of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association effective January 24th. Cherry will serve a one-year term and continue to serve on its Board of Directors.

“SCWLA is excited that Molly will be serving as Secretary this year.  She will be a great addition to our Executive Committee as SCWLA focuses its efforts this year to deliver valuable and relevant services to our growing membership,” said Nexsen Pruet attorney Marguerite Willis, President of SCWLA.

Cherry has also been appointed to serve as Chair of the Employment and Labor Law Specialization Advisory Board. The Board prescribes and upholds the standards and procedures for certification, recertification, and decertification as a specialist in employment and labor law.

Molly Hughes Cherry is a Certified Specialist in Employment and Labor Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court.  She regularly advises businesses on litigation related to employment matters.
