Laser Fun and Night Sky Viewing during Second Shift Twosday Jan. 5

Grab your friends and visit the museum after-hours to observe the night sky during Second Shift Twosday at the South Carolina State Museum. The Boeing Observatory is open until 8 p.m. for an up-close look at the moon, planets and more. Please note: observatory viewing is dependent on clear skies.

Also, don’t miss a live sky tour at 6 p.m. and Laser Fun at 7 p.m. in the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Planetarium. Please note: Laser shows contain bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort to those with light sensitivity or other pre-existing conditions.

The entire museum is always open during Second Shift Twosdays, which takes place every Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 p.m.  Visit scmuseum.org to learn more.
