COLUMBIA, SC – The Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina is pleased to announce that Casey Pash has been selected as the new president of the JACSC office effective December 18, 2014.  As president of the Central South Carolina JA Area, Pash will manage the organization’s work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs that currently reach over 11,000 K-12 S.C. students in 23 counties. Ms. Pash is the former executive director for The Original Six Foundation.

“Ms. Pash’s experience will be invaluable to this organization,” said Tyler Hudson, executive vice president at NBSC and chairman of the JACSC board of directors. “Her successful leadership abilities make her ideally suited to connect area business leaders, community funding opportunities and education initiatives for Central South Carolina’s Junior Achievement programs. Her demonstrated non-profit experience will ensure the future success of the JACSC office.”

TASH head shotMs. Pash, originally from Tennessee, came to S.C. in 2012 to oversee The Original Six Foundation, founded in 2011 by Governor Nikki Haley.  The Original Six Foundation mission – uniting public, private and civic leaders and resources to address the challenging issues facing South Carolina’s communities in the areas of education, quality of life, and workforce readiness strongly parallels Junior Achievement’s key pillars for success: workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy for K-12 students.

Pash began her career in banking. She also worked for the First Lady of Tennessee and was an active young professional in the Nashville area prior to relocating to Columbia.
