North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Names Claire Yoder New Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC In order to fulfill its mission as the premier business organization in the North Myrtle Beach area, the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors Bureau has created a new Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager position and named Claire Yoder to fill this pivotal role.

In her new position, Yoder will serve as the leader of revenue generation for the “Building North Myrtle Beach” campaign and initiative, and the North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation.

Her responsibilities will include researching foundations suited to support the chamber’s designated activities and the “Building North Myrtle Beach” strategic plan, developing and writing grant proposals, coordinating donor correspondence and recognition, enriching and maintaining relationships with current donors and members, and other tasks to advance chamber initiatives.

Screen Shot 2015-05-04 at 11.16.04 PMPrior to serving at the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, CVB, Yoder served as the director of development and alumni relations, development manager and database coordinator at Sacred Heart Schools in Louisville, Ky. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications with a minor in business administration from Elon University.
