Palmetto Health Foundation’s KEMOPALOOZA

COLUMBIA, SC – April 19, 2013 – Enjoy a night filled with live entertainment, food, beverages and a silent auction at Palmetto Health Foundation’s KEMOPALOOZA on Fri., April 19, 7-11 p.m., at EdVenture Children’s Museum, 211 Gervais Street, Columbia. Proceeds will benefit CAMP KEMO Programs of Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital.
The A-Town A-List Band, a party band from Atlanta, will headline entertainment. A-Town A-List has toured the world with notable artists including Bruce Springsteen, The Dave Matthews Band and The Black Eyed Peas. KEMOPALOOZA will open with a set from Columbia’s own BandKamp.
The silent auction is expected to be a hit, with one-of-a-kind items including signed gloves from former University of South Carolina Baseball standout Michael Roth’s 2010 and 2011 National Championship seasons, along with dirt from both Rosenblatt and TD Ameritrade Park. The winner of the Hendrick Motorsports package will receive a tour of the complex in Charlotte, NC, with a guest of choice and a children who are being treated at CAMP KEMO Programs of Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Kramer Portraits has donated a gift certificate for a Masterpiece Portrait and a one-night stay in New York City’s prestigious St. Regis Hotel. Other items include a weekend mountain house get-away, golf packages and gift certificates to local restaurants.
Tickets, $40 per person or $70 per couple, are available at KEMOPALOOZA.org. Each ticket includes admission, food, beverages and entertainment. Attendees must be 21 years or older to attend the event.
