Perry hired as CYDC Associate VP of Development

Carolina Youth Development Center has hired Sara Perry as its new Associate VP of Development.
Perry brings a variety of nonprofit skills to CYDC, with experience in general administration, finance, grant writing, marketing/PR and community outreach.
She most recently served two years as Director of Operations and Outreach for the Tri-County Cradle to Career Collaborative.
Prior to that she worked as an Operations Manager for the College of Charleston and spent 10 years with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.
Perry was recently honored as one of Charleston Regional Business Journal’s 2016 class of “Forty Under 40,” a group of Charleston’s brightest young professionals.
She also has completed Leadership Charleston, a year-long program of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Carolina Youth Development Center is a 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to empower and equip our community’s most vulnerable children by providing a safe environment, educational support, and career readiness, in collaboration with families and community partners. CYDC’s programs serve youth and families in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
